Recently, the finals of the first Shandong Big Data Technology and Application Vocational Skills Competition were successfully held, and the two participating teams of the School of Information Engineering of our university successfully passed the preliminary round and online semi-finals in the school after careful training and hard practice, and finally successfully advanced to the offline finals, and won 1 second prize and 1 third prize.

The competition was jointly sponsored by Shandong Provincial Big Data Bureau, Shandong Provincial Party Committee Internet Information Office, Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and undertaken by Shandong Big Data Association and Jinan Vocational College. The preliminary stage of the competition attracted more than 2,000 contestants in the province, including Shandong University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology including 77 colleges and universities and 236 enterprises and institutions, the final competition is divided into theoretical knowledge and practical operation of two links, mainly to examine the students' statistical knowledge, Python crawler technology, Excel data analysis and business data analysis software EasyBI use, after fierce competition, our school two teams successfully entered the finals.

In the process of preparing for the competition, the team members carefully studied the competition syllabus, actively simulated training in their spare time, and implemented the training plan according to the plan formulated by the instructor and team members. The team members learn from each other, encourage each other, make progress together, constantly expand their knowledge and skills, and go all out to fight for their dreams. On the field, the players were engrossed and calm, and devoted themselves to the game with full enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility.
