On August 11, the Alumni Economic Development Seminar of Peking University Alumni Association in Shandong Province and the Eighth Standing Council Meeting of the Fourth Session were held in Jinan. Professor Liu Cuilan, Executive Director of the Alumni Association and President of our university, was invited to attend the event.

At the meeting, President Liu Cuilan and the participating directors listened to the work report of the alumni association, and discussed the promotion of alumni economic development and in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises. After the meeting, President Liu Cuilan had an in-depth exchange with Zhang Xinfeng, executive director of the alumni association and founder of Tangpai Group, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention between our university and Tangpai Group in the construction of smart health care major, the construction of off-campus practical teaching base, academic exchanges of "Yantai City University of Science and Technology Lecture Hall", scientific research platform and technology research and development.

During the event, the 2024 Symposium of the Alumni Association of Peking University in Shandong Province was held.
