Recently, the 2024 Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE) University Seminar was held at the Chongqing Shancheng International Conference Center. The seminar was hosted by the Secretariat of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE) of Tongji University, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the innovation of vocational education talent training mode in the new era, the localization practice of the dual system, the improvement of teachers' teaching ability, the SSAVE project to help the reform of three educations, and the innovation and development of digital technology. More than 600 people from the Ministry of Education, cooperative enterprises, and leaders and experts from the pilot colleges and universities of the project participated. Wang Fengling, vice president of our university, and Yu Yongfei, dean of the School of Information Engineering, attended the meeting.

The conference was held in various forms such as reports and seminars, covering many fields such as Sino-German vocational education cooperation, automotive, intelligent manufacturing and new generation information technology. During the three-day meeting, the participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the teaching reform of vocational education, the construction of teachers, and the construction of training bases. Representatives of our school actively participated in the discussion of new paths for the development of vocational education with many education colleagues.

The conference built a Sino-German cooperation and industry-education integration exchange and innovation platform for SSAVE project universities and enterprises, and explored the "school-enterprise integration" curriculum and technical skills talent training system through multiple parties, which is of constructive significance for innovating education methods, optimizing school-running models, and improving guarantee mechanisms. Our school will also take this meeting as an opportunity to further deepen the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, summarize and condense the implementation experience and achievements of the SGAVE project, and promote the sustainable development and innovation of vocational education.
