On the morning of March 15th, Lu Guodong, Chairman of the Municipal Committee of Yantai Civic League and Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau, visited our school for inspection and exchange, accompanied by representatives of 7 enterprises, including the Fushan District CPPCC, the Fushan District Grassroots Committee of the Democratic League, the District People's Procuratorate, the District Federation of Overseas Chinese, the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, the District Vocational Education Society, and the Fushan Park of the High-tech Zone. The meeting was presided over by Xia Cuiqing, vice chairman of the Fushan District CPPCC, deputy director of the Education and Sports Bureau, and director of the Vocational Education Society.

At the symposium, President Liu Cuilan gave a detailed introduction to the campus construction, school positioning, professional layout and talent training program of our school. She said that vocational education should pay more attention to teaching students according to their aptitude, and cultivate talents who meet the needs of social and economic development according to the needs of industrial development. School-enterprise cooperation is an important path to promote the transformation of talents and intellectual resources into real productivity in colleges and universities, and to feed back the development of enterprises.

Director Lu Guodong affirmed the achievements of the integration of industry and education in our school. She pointed out that on the basis of school-enterprise cooperation, the school can continue to promote school-government cooperation, and the government will build a cooperation and exchange platform for universities and enterprises, create a good environment, achieve a win-win situation among the government, schools and enterprises, and help the development of regional industries.

At the meeting, representatives of various enterprises put forward suggestions on the establishment of internship bases, the provision of training and technical services, and the promotion of student employment, and introduced their own enterprise characteristics and talent introduction needs. The relevant departments of the university and the secondary colleges also communicated with the representatives of the enterprise on the curriculum standards, curriculum development content and training objectives.

Before the meeting, Director Lu Guodong and his entourage, accompanied by Vice President Wang Fengling, visited the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, the Teaching and Training Center of the School of Finance and Commerce and the History Museum of our university, and conducted on-site observation of the integration of industry and education, talent training, and the construction of training center conditions.
